Schmidt: Yahoo Microsoft Deal Could hurt Internet

Google Inc have once again came out against the proposed acquisition of Yahoo by Microsoft.

This time, none other than Chief Executive Eric Schmidt was quoted in Beijing on Monday that it was concerned about the free flow of information on the Internet if the deal goes through.

Schmidt said, "We are concerned that there are things Microsoft could do that would be bad for the Internet. We would hope that anything they did would be consistent with the openness of the Internet, but I doubt it would be," reports Reuters.

Google is definetly nervous about the deal. A combine Yahoo-Microsoft could seriously threaten Google's dominance in the search engine market.

So the never-ending Microsoft-Yahoo saga goes on and on.
