Adobe Launches Photoshop Express - An Online Photo-editing Application

Adobe is launching its long-anticipated web-based version of Photoshop for editing pictures called Photoshop Express.
The online application is intended for mainstream users, and not professionals. It seems like a stripped down version of the popular desktop software.

So for users who just want to touch up, share and store their photos have a new choice in the web now. Photoshop Express will directly compete with other online photo-editing startups like Picnik and FotoFlexer.

The application, which needs Flash Player 9 to run, is available for free with 2 gigabytes of storage at the moment.

It is in public beta and you can sign up now.
